This week I have acquired Filestreams.com 😱 This is an online filestorage solution, much like Dropbox or Box. So instead of developing a KnoxFS storage platform from scratch, I've decided to acquire a fully operational solution and connect it with KnoxFS. Filestreams has a free subscription, just like Dropbox, so I invite you all to create an account and test the application. Filestreams has a lot of feature, including FTP and WebDAV, to access and edit files from mobile or desktop. So why is this great new for KnoxFS? Because now we have a working product, with paying customers, and we can focuss on integrating KFX payments, create KFX demand, and develop a decentralized storage layer. The platform supports various storage servers (Wasabi, Amazon S3, BackBlaze, Azure, etc) but not yet any decentralized backend. I want to research the possibility to add an IPFS storage bucket, and a Sia storage layer. Filestreams currently supports many payment gateways, but I have some very interesting ideas to enable KFX/wKFX payments. This will allow users to pay for storage plans with KFX tokens, but also for masternode holders to monetize their rewards. Filestream even has a reseller feature, that allows users to earn revenue by selling subscriptions.

Hello everyone, hope you are all doing well! I understand that you are waiting for updates, and so do I. However, there is not too much news to announce right now. On short term I expect our new website to go live. @Harris | BITBUZZ is finalizing the design and the defi wallets. I'm pretty sure you will like the modern design and the web3 funtionality that it will offer. The most important question that we as a team need to answer, is how to contemplate, finance and organize the development of our storage product. It's fair to say that have not managed to develop it with just volunteers. The solution that we envision is comprehensive and requires a significant investment to develop. The reason why I have shared some other proejcts with you in previous updates (Passdropit, Snapit and Notions11) is because in my opinion KnoxFS has to be managed and organized as a software startup that needs funding for a SaaS product. The experience that i'm gaining with other projects, I will use for KnoxFS. The past months i've been contacted by several off-shore development agencies that are keen on developing our storage product. The goal is to draft a Request for Proposal (RFP) and send it out to 3-5 of these development companies and have them pitch for the asignment. Once we have selected a third party for development, we also have a better understanding of the required investment and the timeline to develop the product. We can then also re-schedule the funding campaign that we meant to start in december (ie. wKFX token offering on Pinksale). Possibly I will deside to have an MVP version created prior to the funding campaign, to be able to show/demonstrate investors what we want to build and how we can monetize this solution. Creating revenue (i.e. monetizing) wil be crucial to attract funding. The future value of KFX and wKFX should be based on the ability to generate real revenue, from real customers (including ad revenue or other sources of income). It should not be different to other commercial SaaS products, and not rely on crypto speculation. To conclude this update I like to repeat that i'm personally committed to KnoxFS and will continue to push, even though I can't move forward as fast as we all would want. Hi everybody, hope you all had a very nice Christmas! Just wanted to give you an update before we head towards the end of the year. Last month i've told you about Passdropit.com and how this could give wKFX utility. Currently @Harris | BITBUZZ is still working on the new KnoxFS website, which will include webwallet functionalities. This will enable storing and swapping tokens from within a webwallet. Once this website is live, we will start with integrating KnoxFS into Passdropit. We will start easily by adding KFX logo's (remember that the site genereates over a million pageviews every month!), but the more complex part will be integrating a token wallet into the website. We probably will need external tech support to achieve this, so i can't give an ETA yet. Aside from Passdropit, i'm working on two other SaaS solutions where KFX could be utilized. One is https://www.snapit.gg/ , a cool little screenshot app that let's users create professional screengrabs and mockups in seconds. Although it does not fit the KnoxFS profile (file storage, security, privacy and backup) it could be a suitable website to experiment with in-app token payments. Snapit is pre-revenue, which means we can safely try out crypto payment solutions. A productvideo is currently being created, and next month we will launch the website on Producthunt and similar platforms. The third website i wanted to announce to you, is https://www.notions11.com/ This is a spin-off from Passdropit and let's Notion users add a password to their Notion links. The site is expected to launch next month. Since there are over 35 million active Notion users, and there isn't a similar product out there yet, I have high expectations for Notions11.com The back-end will be almost the same as Passdropit.com and so when we succesfully manage to integrate wKFX, it will effectively for both websites. Rest assured that we are working on various products, and on KnoxFS marketing material (website, whitepaper, promo video). As soon as we notice the crypto market in general turning more positive, we will prepare for the public tokensale ASAP. Hi all, i wanted to give you a fresh update on the project., because we are working on cool things and it's about to get serious 🙂 1. as per our October 28 announcement, we are finalizing our first business acquisition. By the end of this month i can disclose the website, and KnoxFS can sign a licence agreement to integrate and advertise wKFX on the SaaS platform. 2. In preparation of this event, our dev Harris is working on an in-app wallet integration. Users of our products will be able to create a wallet, link their existing tokenwallet (i.e. MetaMask) and send/receive/trade/swap wKFX tokens and other crypto's. Here are some sneakpeaks: 3. We are currently also working hard on a brand new website, and a new updated and dynamic whitepaper. I expect them to be readu in 2-3 weeks. 4. We have selected a marketing agency to promote our public tokensale on PinkSale next month. This means that we will continue to develop our (unique) decentralized storage solution, but also acquire existing software solutions that match our four fundamentals; (decentralized) data storage, data security, privacy and backup. Our ultimate goal is to create an ecosystem with that consist of a collection of software prodcts where wKFX will be the main utility token, to be used for payments, rewards and other incentives. The news that i can now share with you, is that we made an offer to acquire a SaaS solution and this offer has been accepted. I can not disclose the website yet, but it offers a filesharing add-on and has over 33.000 registered users and generated over 12 million pageviews the past 12 months. The deal will be closed before December 1, and then we can start integrating wKFX. This will give our token immediate utility, and will generate a lot of awareness. But that's not all.
